01

Initial consultation
Upon receiving a prescription signed by a sleep doctor, Orange Healthcare CPAP consultant and the patient will discuss patient’s medical health history, their symptoms and sleep apnea diagnosis.

Assessment
The CPAP specialist assesses the patient’s needs for CPAP therapy, including evaluating the severity of their sleep apnea and any potential contraindications or concerns.

Education
Based on the assessment, the CPAP specialist recommends the appropriate CPAP equipment, including the machine, mask, and related supplies.

Equipment selection
The CPAP specialist educates the patient on various aspects of CPAP therapy, including how to use and maintain the equipment, side effects and troubleshooting, and lifestyle adjustments to support successful therapy.

1 DAY - 1 WEEK

Trial period
The CPAP specialist may recommend a trial period for the patient to test out the equipment and determine its effectiveness in treating their sleep apnea.
1 MONTH +

Follow-up
After the trial period or initiation of therapy, the CPAP specialist schedules follow-up appointments to monitor the patient’s progress and address any issues or concerns. The follow-up appointments may include compliance monitoring, equipment check-ups, mask fitting adjustments, and education and support as needed.

Treatment adjustment
Based on the patient’s progress and feedback, the CPAP specialist may adjust therapy settings, such as pressure levels or mask type, to optimize effectiveness.
EVERY 3-6 MONTHS

Maintenance service
We will continuously monitor the patient’s progress to ensure optimal CPAP machine performance. Patients will visit the clinic every six months for a clinical assessment and the replacement of the mask, hose, and humidifier for hygiene reasons.
